2014 YMCA Manila swimming lessons

I took swimming lessons when I was five. I started training at YMCA manila when I turned 15, I thought it was too late for me since almost all the other swimmers in my age group started competing when they were like 3 or 4. Still, coach Mando did not see any hindrance at all. He trained me very hard and never got tired of encouraging me whenever I feel weak during competitions. It was not an easy journey, it took me a lot of body pain and tears to win these medals during my 4 years as a competitive swimmer.

Ok enough TBT, FBF, WBW. haha

I went to YMCA Manila earlier with my eldest son and noticed that they renovated the place. Before the floor around the pool was just plain cement but now the place is covered in white tiles.

The tiles of the pool is also new, no more broken tiles to avoid. There are more shower stalls in each shower room and it looks cleaner and brighter too.
