First count to 10


Anger is energy, it is way too strong and often moves faster than reason. That is why we often hear the advice, "When angry, count to 10, then breathe."

Think first before we say anything when we're angry, for we might say something we'll regret later or make someone say something they'll regret too.

There are people who respond to anger with anger, and that could lead to a really heated argument or even a violent one. There are others who experience anxiety or panic attacks when someone is angry with them.

Remember emotional & physical pain can heal but the scars will stay.
